Rosalea Bernice Powell Fjelstul, 67, 7513 S. Trenton Ct., Englewood, Calif., died Sunday at the Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colo. 

Services will be 2 pm Monday at the Owen Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa with the Rev. Don Price officiating. Burial will follow in the South Heights Cemetery under the directions of Owen funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 7, 1926 in Tulsa and was reared by William Kemper and Goldie Powell. She graduated from Kiefer High School in 1944. She was employed by Sinclair Oil Company in Tulsa prior to her marriage to Charles "Richard" Fjelstul, Nov. 26, 1949.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Curtis, Point Reyes, Calif., Calvin, Phoenix, Ariz., and Clifton, Ridgeway, Iowa; daughters Cynthis, Littleton, Colo., and Catherine, Phoenix; sisters, Tulsa Banks, Kellyville, and Enid Pickering, Sapulpa; a number of grand and great grandchildren, and three step-granddaughters.

She was a homemaker for her family in seven U.S. states, Calgary, Canada, Brisbane, Australia, Singapore, Tehran, Iran, and Perth, Australia. She traveled to 47 countries during her husband's career in the oil industry.

The family has requested that memorials be made to the American Lung
Association.

Because of incorrect information from the funeral home, the residence of Rosalea Bernice Powell Fjelstul was listed as being in Englewood, California. The proper state is Colorado. Also three step-granddaughters survive, among others.

Funeral services for Rosalea Bernice Powell Fjelstul were to be held at 2 pm today at the Owen Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Don Price officiating.

Burial was to follow in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
