TULSA - Former Sapulpan Waymond Foshee, 61, of Tulsa, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Sherman officiating.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, under the direction of Mitchell’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Foshee was born Jan 1, 1931, in Sapulpa. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Sapulpa, earned a degree from Langston University and did additional course work at the University of Tulsa.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Sapulpa, was a state juvenile counselor in Tulsa and was a charter bus driver for M. K. & O. Bus Lines.

He was most recently employed as a science teacher at Hamilton Middle School in Tulsa, where he had taught for 20 years.

Survivors include wife, Frances; son Enrico Foshee of Modesto, Calif.; daughter Erico of Tulsa; and brothers Rudolph Foshee of Seminole and Ronald Foshee of Sapulpa.
