FRANKENBERGER

OKLAHOMA CITY — Mrs. Rosa A. Frankenberger, 87, Oklahoma City, died Saturday at North West Nursing Center, Oklahoma City.

Services will be 1 pm Friday at Sacred Heart Church, Sapulpa, with the Revs. Daniel Keohane and Duane Mallon officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born Aug 9, 1900, in Brazil, Ind. She moved to Pocahontas, Ark. As a child.

She married Fred C. Frankenberger June 8, 1920. He preceded her in death in 1966.

Her husband worked in the oil fields between Bixby and Mounds for several years, and later moved to the Kiefer-Glenpool area. The couple moved to Sapulpa when he retired.

Survivors include daughters Helen Keylon Rhoads of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Yeater of Alamosa, Colo.; son William J. of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters Mary Jo Orr of Camp Verde, Ariz., Francis Dupwe of Russellville, Ark., and Florence Keaton of Daleville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Frankenberger’s body will lie in state at Owen Funeral Home beginning Wednesday Morning.

Mrs. Frankenberger worked at Liberty Glass During World War II. She was an active member of the Sapulpa Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary and the Past Presidents Club.
