MINERVA FREEMAN

Mrs. Herman (Minerva) Freeman, 61, 137 E. Jackson Ave., died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Prayer services is set for 8 pm today at Little Cussetah Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday at the church with the Revs. Jonas Partridge and Willis Knight officiating.

Burial will be at Cussetah Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home

She was born Dec 4, 1928, in Sapulpa as was a Sapulpa resident most of her life.

Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Little Cussetah Baptist church and a retired nurse’s aide.

She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.

Survivors include husband Herman Freeman; son Aubrey Freeman of Sapulpa; daughters Gloria Gist of Tulsa, Shirley Chasney and Elenor Jane Doctor, both of Florida, and Monica Freeman of the home; brothers Daniel Bruner of Tulsa, Joe Bob Bruner of Sapulpa, Hoovey Perez and Gano Perez, both of Tulsa, and Ocie Perez of Oregon; sisters Alice Watashe of Kellyville, Darlene Pierce of Sapulpa and Madeline Rice, Ferry Marie Fisher and Loretta Freeman, all of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Minerva Freeman were today at Little Cussetah Baptist Church with the Revs. Jonas Partridge and Willis Knight officiating.

Burial was at Cussetah Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
