GRANT FRIEND

Grant W. Friend, 83, 619 E. Lee, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

He was born May 26, 1908, in Kansas, and was a area resident most of his life. He married Fern Wilson on Dec 24, 1932, in Kellyville. He operated Friend’s Dozer Service before his retirement and was a member of the Kellyville Free Holiness Church.

Survivors include wife Fern; son Robert Friend of Sapulpa; brother Ralph Friend of Sapulpa; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

GRANT FRIEND

Funeral services for Grant Friend will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Kellyville Free Holiness Church with the Revs. David Taylor and Cecil Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be David R. Friend, David L. Friend, Darrel Duke, Ronnie Wilson, Wayne Woody and Tommy Hood.

Honorary casketbearers will be Carl Bacon and Cecil Luper.

Mr. Friend, an area resident for 47 years, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
