KENNETH FRIEND

Kenneth Lee Friend, 51, 902 N. Moccasin, died Monday at Veterans Hospital in Muskogee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday at Green Hills Memorial Chapel with Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born Sep 10, 1941, and had lived in the Sapulpa area all of his life. He married Rozena Strain in Nowata on April 2, 1967. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and operated his own dump truck service.

Survivors include wife Rozena; father Ralph Friend of Sapulpa; sons Kenneth Lee Friend of Sapulpa; daughter Zenna Elliott of Sapulpa; brother George Friend of Sapulpa; sister Pat Vance of Tulsa; and two grandchildren.

At the family’s request, the casket will be closed at the service.
