OCNS - June 5, 2001 - Funeral services for Mark Monroe Gage, 29, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, grandson of Virginia Gage of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 8, 2001, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska, with burial in the Oilton Cemetery, Oilton, Oklahoma.

Mark, who was born June 22, 1971 in Drumright, Oklahoma, to Mark Edwin and Carol Ellen (Mock) Gage, was the victim of a tragic automobile accident near Locust Grove and died June 3, 2001.

Survivors in addition to his paternal grandmother, Virginia Gage, are his mother, Carol Bennett of Wichita Falls, Texas; his father, Mark Edwin Gage of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three sisters, LaQuita Gage Kinisely, Jennifer Bennett and Rebecca Bennett, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, Steven Bennett of Illinois; two daughters, Katlin and Aundria Gage and one son, Hunter Scott, all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Mock of Ripley, Oklahoma, and paternal grandparents, Tom and Ruth Gage of Mannford, Oklahoma.

Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Don Gage.

Mark was a friend to everyone he met and leaves behind a host of friends and family.

Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, was in charge of arrangements.
