Stella Garvin Dies Sunday;
Rites Tuesday
Sapulpa Herald

Mrs. Stella O. Garvin, 66, Sapulpan 37 years, died Sunday evening at Bartlett Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Garvin was born Oct 2, 1905, in Sallisaw and married Elmer C. Garvin, who survives her, May 25, 1925. Until 1965, when she retired, she was employed by Kuykendall Sinclair bulk dealer. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Woodmen's Circle, and attended college at Northeastern State.

She is survived by her husband of the home, 1043 E. McLeod; a son, Kennon Garvin, 1206 Circle Dr.; three grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Kuykenall, Sapulpa and Mrs. B. J. Garvin, Sallisaw.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be J. D. Welch, Bob Lindley, Howard Stroup, Mark Hanna, Bob Powers and Eugene Robertson.

The family is headquartering at the Kuydendall home, 200 N. Division.
