MUSTANG, Okla. - Louise Gibson, age 79, died Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at a Yukon health care facility after a period of failing health. She was born October 9, 1921 in Oilton, Okla., to Bob and Anna Lemons Hill and grew up in the Oilton/Drumright area. She was a graduate of Varnum High School and later attended business college. She was a real estate broker and owned the Merle Norman Salon in Grove. She had been a resident of Mustang for the last nine years and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jacqueline.
Survivors are: one son, Robert Paul Gibson and wife, Rhonda, of Grove; one daughter, Cheryl Roberts and husband, Ken, of Mustang; and two grandchildren, Meredith and Matthew.
Graveside rites were held at noon on Saturday, September 15, at Mt. Olympus Cemetery, Grove. Services were under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang.
