Ethel Griffin Dies Friday
Ethel Griffin, 80, died Friday at her home west of Sapulpa.
She was born March 6, 1892, in Polk County, Missouri. Her husband, F.
A. (Art) Griffin preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Griffin moved to Sapulpa from Fair Play, MO, 55 years ago. She
was a member of the Sapulpa Free Holiness Church.
Survivors include one son, Mark Griffin, northwest of Sapulpa; a
daughter, Mildred Vocham, west of Sapulpa, 7 grandchildren; 10 great
grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ivie Perry, Davenport, Iowa and Mrs.
Winnie Toliver, Somerton, Ariz.; 2 brothers, Lewis Davis, Longmont,
Colo. and Geena Davis, of California.
Services will be at 2 pm Saturday in the Free Holiness church, 601
S. Mission, with the Rev. Dovie George, Tommy Toliver and Harlon Brake
officiating.
Pallbearers, all former Sunday school pupils, will be Leon Farley,
James Tolliver, Dickie Toliver, Bob Rodgers, Jimmie Whitehouse and Dan
Whitehouse.
Burial, under direction of Smith Funeral Home, will be in Green Hills
Memorial Gardens.
The family will headquarter in the Mark Griffin home.

Art Griffin Rites Slated
Funeral rites for F. A. "Art" Griffin, 79, will be at 1 pm
Saturday at Free Holiness church. Bro. Dovie George will be assisted by
Bro. Sammy Cottrell and Bro. Tommy Tolliver.
Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Gilbert, Garner Roberts, Luther
Whitehouse, Virgil Crawford, Johnny Romine and Arthur Cottrell.
Griffin died Thursday. His home was west of Sapulpa.
