Howard Andy Griffith, 86, of Tulsa died Saturday, March 18, 1995, in Sherwood manor Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Green Hill Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow. Owens Funeral Home of Sapulpa is in charge of arrangements.

Griffith was born Dec. 14, 1908 in Cresent to Andy B. And Fannie Ivy Griffith. He later moved to the Sapulpa area where he lived most of his life.

He worked as a maintenance man for the Beacon Building in Tulsa. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and a Protestant.

Survivors include three sons, Henry Griffith of Cushing, Howard E. Griffith of Jenks and Jimmie Griffith of Sperry; two daughters, Helen Warren of Tulsa and Willa Dean Blackley of Beggs; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will be headquartered at Route 8, Box 638, Tulsa.
