Gary Dale Grubb of Sapulpa died April 5, 2001 at age 58.

Gary was born Jul 13 1942 in Cushing and had lived in Sapulpa for 37 years. He was married to Bonnie Reed on Jan 21, 1977.

He worked for the Sapulpa Daily Herald for 36 years.

Survivors are his wife, Bonnie; children Jerri Grubb of Sapulpa, Wesley Grubb of Sapulpa and Shelly Clemons; several grandchildren; brothers Frank and Robert Keith Grubb of Mannford, and Richard Grubb of Stillwater; sisters, Georgia Wolfe of Stroud, Monty Boatman of Cushing and Talitha Bush of Cushing.

Funeral services are set for April 7, 2001 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Serving as casketbearers will be Danny Reed, Danny Joe Sissel, Bryan Scott, Wesley Scott, Kemmery Morrow, Denny Morrow, Chip McClure and Dave Fordonski. Honorary bears will be Frank Gierhart, Joe Constancio, Bill Gierhart, Bobby Donaldson, Ed Livermore, Chuck Lake, Jim Murray, John Brock, Roy Roop and Bill Armstrong.
