N. G. Guthrie Is Taken By Death

Nilard G. Guthrie, age 57, of Sapulpa, died yesterday morning at about 8 o'clock in Morningside Hospital, Tulsa from complications following operation on a broken hip.

Born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, July 18, 1880, he worked in that state as a drilling contractor, and followed the same work in Oklahoma and Texas for more than 20 years, up until his health failed him.

He made his home here for a time with his sister, Mrs. J. D. Guthrie, 19 West Taft Street.

Funeral services were held in Tulsa at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon and burial was made in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Guthrie, of Sapulpa, and Mrs. Etta Munn of Terre Haute, Ind., and two brothers, Elmer Guthrie of Sapulpa and William G. Guthrie of Erie, PA.
