Mattie Bell Hale, 78, Bristow, died Tuesday, April 18, 1995 in Bristow.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home Chapel in Bristow with George Fisher and Ertis Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bristow City Cemetery.

She was born May 17, 1916 in Oilton to William and Arkie Blansett Lane. She moved to Bristow from California in 1981. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Conference.

She married Cecil Hale in Chanler Nov. 22, 1937 .

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Hale of the home; two brothers, William Harvey Lane, Jr., Mannford and Homer Lane, Gridley, Calif., and two sisters, Edith James, Bristow, and Ima Neal Stubbins, Federal Way, Wash.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Zelma Posey, Ada Hensley and Bessie Levecy; and five brothers, Emmitt Lane, Walter Lane, Oscar Lane, Jack Lane and Baby Lane.
