George Weldon Hall, 75, of Glenpool died Friday, June 23, 1995, in
Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Green Hill Chapel with
the Rev. Graig Brown officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial
Gardens with Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hall was born Sept. 25, 1919 in Childress, Texas to George W. And
Nannie Chadwick Hall. He married Jewel Austin in Amarillo, Texas on
July 17, 1946.
He served in the U.S. Army and Army Air Corps during World War II.
He had been employed as shop foreman for White Chevrolet and also was
a self-employed auto mechanic prior to his retirement.
Mr. Hall moved to the area from Texas in 1978.
He was of the Protestant faith and was a member of Lions Club International
in Texas.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, Dean Hall of
Gulfport, Miss., Rich Hall of Broken Arrow, Von Hall and Aaron Hall,
both of Tulsa; a daughter Jolene Krutz of Golden, Mo.; six brothers,
Buford Hall of Dallas, Texas, Finis Hall, Ray Hall, Jim Hall and John
Hall, all of Amarillo; and Wood Hall of Lubbock, Texas; five sisters
Alene Bass of Locust Grove, Fammie Fowler, Mary Charles, Irene Johnson
and Oleta Burris, all of Amarillo, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
The family will be headquartered at 873 W. 136th place in Glenpool.

Services for George Weldon Hall, 75, of Glenpool were at 10 a.m. Monday
in Green Hill Chapel under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
He died Friday, June 23, 1995, in Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
He was born Sept. 25, 1919 in Childress, Texas to George W. And Nannie
Chadwick Hall. He married Jewel Austin in Amarillo, Texas on July 17,
1946.
