W. H. Hallum Dies
William Harve Hallum, 73, 512 S. Poplar, died Wednesday morning at Curry Hospital where he had been hospitalized several days.
He was born May 19, 1894 at Wagoner and lived at Kiefer from 1932 until his retirement in 1959 from the Texas Company, when he moved to
Sapulpa, He was a truck driver 38 years for the company. He was a member of the Morris, Okla, Baptist church.
Survivors are his widow, Violet, of the home; four sons, Charley, Apache; Doyle, Tulsa; W. L.. Lakewood, Calif; Thurman, Houma, La; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon J. Riggle, Ringling; 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. S. B. Stringer, Bentonville, Ark; Mrs. M. K. Remmers and Mrs. Russell Nelson, Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. J. C. Nelson, Bartleville and two brothers, Charley J. Hallum, Bartleville, David L. Hallum, Deleware, Okla.
Smith Funeral Home will announce service arrangements.
(William Harve Hallum died October 18, 1967. He married Melvina Simpson (Oct 5, 1900 - March 1, 1953) on March 27, 1918 in Claremore, Oklahoma. They had five children. His second wife was Violet Rebecca Eaves).
