Lee A. Hamilton, 86, of Sapulpa, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995 at Mayfair Nursing Center, Tulsa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Howard officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Hamilton was born Jan. 9, 1909 in Fort Cobb to George W. and Mary F. Mason Hamilton. He had lived in Sapulpa for 40 years. He was a retired inspector for the Oklahoma Highway Department and was of the Baptist denomination.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie, and a daughter, Carolyn Sue Hamilton.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosa Lee Gibbons of Tulsa, a brother, Glen Hamilton of Bakersfield, Calif; two sisters, Lucille Parker of Kansas City and Alice Williams of Sanger, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
