Updated: 06 Sep 2009 HANCOCK, Arrah CarrSapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 02-24-1993 Arrah Carr Hancock, 94, formerly of Sapulpa and Tulsa, died Monday in Ocean Springs, Miss. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Friday at South Heights Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Warren C. Hultgren officiating. Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Ninde Garden Chapel of Tulsa. She was born in West Plains, Mo., on July 24, 1897. She and her parents moved to Oklahoma seven years before statehood. Mrs. Hancock was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tulsa and the Tulsa Town Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Carr, in 1937 and her second husband, Sam Hancock, in 1969. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Carr. Survivors include a son, Charles Carr of Ocean Springs, Miss.; daughter, Mary Lou Rogge of Bullard, Texas; sister, Ervilla Crabtree of Tulsa; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
