Michael Ray Harger, 49, of Tulsa, passed
from this earth to meet his Lord and loved ones Friday, Oct. 14,
2005.
Michael, lovingly known as Mike to many, was born Nov. 12, 1955
in Muskogee to Haden and Eunice Harger. He was a much loved son,
brother, husband and father.
Michael is survived by his wife Debra Harger; parents Haden and
Eunice, of Tulsa; sister Lesa Beth Wilkins, of Tulsa; daughter
Hanna JoEl Payne and her husband Bruce Payne, of Tulsa; daughter
Heidi Faith Morales, of Sapulpa; sons Hyland Michael Harger and
Dylan Camp Harger, both of Tulsa; and step-son Thad Caves. He is
also survived by grandchildren Emry Wind Mills, Bruce Michael
Payne, Destiny Faith Morales, Samantha Nicole Morales and
Destiny Caves.
Michael was preceded in death by his much beloved brother, Haden
Russell Harger.
His family and friends know and rejoice at the great joy Mike is
sharing in his reunion with Russell and his recently departed
grandfather known as great-grandpa.
He also will be missed by his nephew Russell Paul Harger; niece,
Andrea Brooke Clark; and the many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends he leaves behind.
Michael loved his family and his work. He was an avid Harley
Davidson rider, a gifted craftsman working with leather, stone,
welding, and was able to perform well at whatever he put his
hands to. He worked much of his life as a construction
contractor. He loved the outdoors, especially spending time
hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be at 11 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at
New Life Pentecostal Church, in Tulsa.
Interment will follow at
Green Hills Memorial Gardens. There
will be a visitation service held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct.
16, 2005, at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa Ok, Funeral services
are entrusted to Smith Funeral Home
