Robert Wilson Harlow, 70, Shawnee, died Thursday at Oklahoma City.

Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Saturday at Trinity Chapel Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee with Rev. Delbert Akin, Minister of the Free Will Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow at Trinity Chapel Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Shawnee.

He was born Sep 14, 1922, in Oklahoma City to J.C. and Anna Gladney Harlow. He attended school in Oklahoma City and graduated from Classen High School. He later graduated from the Missouri School of Mines in Rolla, Mo., with a degree in electrical engineering. He married Julaine Willard on March 4, 1951, in Oklahoma City. Harlow retired on Jan. 1, 1987, after 30 years of service with OG&E where he was a regional superintendent. He was a member of the Lions Club, American Red Cross, United Way Board, Elks Lodge, Oklahoma Kids baseball and Shawnee National Youth Rodeo.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Julaine; mother, Anna Harlow of Oklahoma city; sons Russell Harlow of Guthrie and Kit Harlow of Ponca City; daughter, Holly Harlow of Houston, Texas, brother Bruce Harlow of Montara, Calif.; and one grandson.
