Harris was born April 23, 1921 in Kellyville and served in WW II and Korea with the 45th Infantry Division. He had been a truck drier for Evans Transfer Co. He was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his mother, Daisy Harris, Kellyville; sisters Ruth Traynor, Kellyville, Phyllis Burris, Ketchikan, Alaska; and Martha Burris, Tulsa.
HARRIS, William A. (Bill) Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church in Kellyville with the Rev. Roy Bigpond officiating. Burial will follow in the Kellyville Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. HARRIS, William A. (Bill) Burial will be at the Kellyville Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Casket bearers are Charles Burris, James Burris, John Burris, Robert Burris, William Burris, Charley Harris, Jimmy Harris, Joe Harris, Chad Jennings and Clint Jennings. Full military services will be conducted by Sapulpa veterans organizations. |
