Opal M. Hawkins, 76, of Kellyville, died Sunday at her home. Funeral services
were held today at the Kellyville Free Holiness Church with Rev. David Taylor
officiating.
Burial followed at Kellyville City
Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Ray Heard, Billy Banks, Mike McGuire, Donald Harwood, Bob
Richison and Jim Richison.
Honorary casketbearers were John Romine and Junior Lovell.
She was born Dec 12, 1915, in Marion County, AR, and married Douglas Hawkins
Sep 27, 1934. They moved to Kellyville in 1952 from Flippin, AR. She worked as a
cook for Kellyville Public Schools and was a member of the Kellyville Free
Holiness Church. Mrs. Hawkins enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979. Survivors include sisters Lea
Ellen Davenport and Florence McCracken, both of Flippin, AR; and one grandchild.
The family will headquarter at 414 S. Beach, Kellyville.
