HOUSTON, Texas - George Wilbur Haynes, 75, of Houston, died Jan 9, at Rosewood Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church in Sapulpa.

He was born in Sapulpa. Mr. Haynes resided and worked as a well log analyst for AMOCO Oil Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Fort Worth, Texas, and Houston, where he resided since 1970. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a charter member and co founder in 1958 of the International Society of Professional Well Log Analysts.

Mr. Haynes was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Wilbur Haynes of Fairfax, Calif., and Scott L. Haynes of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Heather Haynes-McGee of Oklahoma City; brothers, W. C. Haynes of Muskogee and James B. Haynes of Tulsa; and five grandchildren.
