Updated: 06 Sep 2009 HAYS, Wyan W. Wyan W. Hays, 69, Route 2, died Saturday at Saint
Francis Hospital, Tulsa.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Green Hills
Mausoleum Chapel.
Burial will be at Green
Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
He was born March 2, 1930, in Illinois Bend, Texas, and
served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Hays was a civil service employee and a fireman,
while living in California.
He moved to Sapulpa 10 years ago from Stockton, Calif.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include wife Bernice Hays of the home; sons
Leon Hays, and Zelmer Downs, daughters Mary Alice Brust and Cathy Gregory;
sisters Vida Lou Downs and R. Della DeWitt; brother James Hays; six
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
