Margie May Hayter, 62, 132 E. Jackson, died Saturday at Hillcrest
Medical Center in Tulsa.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday, at Community Free
Will Baptist Church in Kiefer with Rev. Howard Butler and Rev. David
Gleason officiating.
Burial will follow at South
Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Margie was born May 9, 1930, in Sapulpa, and married Gene Hayter in
1950, also in Sapulpa. She was formerly employed by Sapulpa Headstart
and Farmer’s Feed Store. She was also an active member of the Sapulpa
Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Community Free Will Baptist
Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; mother, Bertha Hill of Sapulpa;
sons, Mike of Sand Springs, and Phillip of Kellyville; daughter, Margena
Hicks of Sapulpa; sisters, Helen Tobey of Tulsa and Carrie Byus of
Arizona; and five
grandchildren.

Services for Margie May Hayter have been rescheduled from 2 pm Thursday,
at Community Free Will Baptist Church in Kiefer, because of the
observance of Veterans Day.
Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of
Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hayter of Sapulpa died Saturday in Hillcrest Medical Center in
Tulsa.

Funeral services for Margie May Hayter were held this afternoon at 2 pm
in the Community Free Will Baptist Church in Kiefer with Rev. Howard
Butler and David Gleason officiating.
Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Marty Gotcher, Jimmy Carlock, Kevin King, Sonny
McGuire, Jim Everhart and Joe Conley.
Honorary casketbearers were Mark Wells and Jason Hicks. Mrs. Hayter, a
life-long resident Sapulpa resident, died Saturday at Hillcrest Medical
Center.
