Maxine Lorraine Hendrix, 66, of Collinsville, died Sunday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, with the Rev. Bill McCaskill officiating.

Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.

She was born Aug 23, 1924, in Collinsville, and married Samuel Hendrix July 10, 1943.

She worked at Jones-Laughlin in Tulsa before working at American Exchange Bank in Collinsville prior to her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Collinsville.

She was preceded in death by grandson Kyle Warren Hendrix in 1985, and by her husband, Samuel, Feb 14.

Survivors include mother, Jewel Morris of Tulsa; sons Jeff Hendrix of Collinsville and Sam Hendrix of Sapulpa; sister Louise Francis of Collinsville; and one grandchild.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
