Flossie Jane "Janie" Hesser, 75, of Stillwater, died Tuesday at the Stillwater Medical Center. 

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Stillwater with Dr. William S. Inglish and the Rev. Reed Hartford officiating. Burial is to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. 

Hesser was born Nov. 12, 1918 near Glencoe to Nelson John and Cora Mabel (Whitaker) Sager. She married I. Jay Hesser on May 25, 1940 in Hydro. She graduated from Stillwater High School and was a member of the First Christian Church where she was active in Christian Women's Fellowship and had been president and secretary. Hesser was a secretary and a homemaker. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. 

She is survived by her husband, I. Jay Hesser of the home; son Dr. Ronald N. Hesser of Poteau; daughter Darlene J. Bryan of Edmond; brother Charles J. Sager of Tulsa; sister Carmelita Negelin of Pawnee; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
