Brookie Lee Hickman, 69, 310 W. Taft, died Tuesday at Pleasant Manor Nursing
Center.
Services were today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Partridge
officiating.
Burial was at Little Cussetah Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Wayne Sawyer, Joe Sawyer, Ronnie Sawyer, Cecil Tiger, Keith
Granger and Fred Whitehouse.
She was born Oct 26, 1920, and lived in Sapulpa most of her life. She worked in
several cafes in Sapulpa, including the Little Gem and the Royal Cafe as a
waitress.
She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughter Judy Billings of Sapulpa; son Orbylee Hickman of
Garland, Texas; brothers Bobby Lump Adkins of Sapulpa and Leggas Adkins of
Bakersfield, Calif.; sister Natalin Jolen of Sapulpa; three grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
