Harold Ray Hoffman, 53, 2999 Laurel Oaks Road, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial will follow at Floral Heaven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Jan 5, 1939, in Hutchinson, Kans., and served 26 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a sergeant major. He married Dien (Tammy) LE THI on Aug 2, 1965, and moved to Sapulpa from Alexandria, Va. in 1983. He worked for the Sand Springs Post Office for eight years as a letter carrier and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife Tammy; daughters Rhona Ann Hoffman and Vicki Elizabeth Hoffman, both of Sapulpa; son John Randell Hoffman of Sapulpa; brothers Edwin Calvin SOLOMON of Hackett, Ark., David Hoffman of Tulsa, Walter Hoffman of Sapulpa, Gene Hoffman of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Tom Hoffman of Bixby; sisters Connie SHILLING of Tulsa, Doris WARD of McCurtain, Mary Jane CALVERT of Talala and Amy GRESIMER of Spartanburg, S.C.

Funeral services for Harold Ray Hoffman were held today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial followed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Full military rites were accorded by the Fort Sill Honor Guard.

Mr. Hoffman, a Sapulpa resident since 1983, died Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital.
