Funeral services for Chester Arthur Hooten are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at Green Hills Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Creason officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

The family will headquarter at the Dave and Judy Sivadon residence, 115 E. 10th in Mounds on the day of the service.

Visitation will be between 8 am and 5 pm until the day of the service.

Mr. Hooten, 73, of Mounds died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

MOUNDS - Chester Aurthur Hooten, 73, of Mounds, died Saturday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at Green Hills Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Creason officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooten was born Nov 10, 1918, in Stringtown and moved to Sapulpa shortly thereafter. He married Hester Louise Potts on July 19, 1941 in Sapulpa. He was employed as a crane operator for NEMCO Casting Inc. until his retirement in 1973.

Survivors include wife, Hester; daughters Barbara Thompson of Sapulpa and Judy K. Sivadon of Mounds; brother Robert Hooten of Bakersfield, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

The family will headquater at the Dave and Judy Sivadon residence, 115 E. 10th in Mounds on the day of the service.

The family has requested no visitation at the funeral home.
