Raymond Hoover, Route 1, died Friday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery

He was born August 27, 1917, in Kiefer and lived in the Sapulpa area all his life. He served in the Seabees during World War II and was employed as a butcher for Wickham Packing Co., Locker Plant and Armour Packing Co. Mr. Hoover was a Baptist. He married Lucile Walker Sep 25, 1939, in Bristow.

Survivors include wife Lucile; sons Glenn, Sam (Windy), Larry (Buck) and Joe Dell; daughter Dorothy Boell; sister Elsie Reynolds; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Raymond Hoover Route 1, were today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery.

Casket bearers were George Tyler, Maynard Love, Jerry Miller, Erceil Robinson, Red Henry and Moe Sawyer.

Mr. Hoover died Friday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.
