Mr. Clarence E. Hopkins, 72, 1028 W. Teel, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

He was born Aug 19, 1915, in Lees Creek, Ark. He was a Sapulpa resident for 50 years.

Mr. Hopkins married Frances O’Brien on Nov 19, 1939. He worked for Pure Oil Co. For several years.

He retired from the Creek County Highway Department in 1987. Mr. Hopkins was an avid horseman and president of the Sapulpa Round-Up Club for many years.

Survivors include wife Frances; father C.E.; son Willis; brothers Ernest and Dee; and four grandchildren.
