HOTTENSTEIN, Charles H.
Charles H. Hottenstein, 96, of Glenpool died Monday at Glenpool Health Center. Masonic graveside services are scheduled for 4 pm Wednesday at Dennison Cemetery, Idabel. Burial will follow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Hottenstein was born July 26, 1896, in Sycamore, Ohio. He married Irene NAGEL on July 26, 1937, in Mena, Ark. He retired from the U.S. Army after attaining the rank of major and serving in World War I and II. He was later employed as a postal clerk and previously lived in Branson, Mo., and Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. Hottenstein was a member of First Baptist Church, a 65-year lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, a lifetime member of the American Legion. He enjoyed stamp collecting. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1991.
Survivors include daughter Cathren WILLIAMS of Stillwater; sons Charles J. Hottenstein of Eugene, Ore., and Merle Hottenstein of Ocean Shore, Wash.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
HOTTENSTEIN, Charles H. Charles Hottenstein Graveside services for Charles H. Hottenstein were held today at Dennison Cemetery, Idabel, with members of the Masonic Lodge of Idabel officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
