Somerville, Texas - Mr. Willis Wayne Howard, 59, Somerville, Texas, died Sunday in Houston.

Services were today at Strickland Funeral Home, Somerville, with the Rev. Morris Matthis officiating.

Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery, Somerville.

Mr. Howard was a retired land technician with Exxon Production and Research in Houston. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and served in the Korean War.

He also was a Methodist and member of the Lee Scott AMAS Masonic Lodge in Somerville, and 34 year member of the Kiefer #488 Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Lula; daughter Gayla Zintek of Hempstead, Texas; sons Jesse Wayne of Houston and Louis Frank of Hempstead; sisters Pauline Denny of Ingram, Ill., Doris Rogers of Heidelburg, Miss., and Marjorie Boak of Farmington, NM; and two grandchildren.
