Omer Ray Howard, 80, Hectorville, Okla., died Thursday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Howard was born April 30, 1913 in Sapulpa and lived in this area all of his life. He was married to Ruby Scott July 18, 1947 in Ft. Smith. He was a Baptist and had worked for the Hardy Steel Company and was a farmer and stockman.

Survivors include wife Ruby of the home, children Harvey Howard of Mounds, Sundown Howard of Mannfod, Jimmy Howard of Woodland, Calif.; Patricia Willigas and Thalia Ledford, both of California; Billy Thompson of Soldotna, Alaska; Doris Anderson of Mounds, Bob McGuire of Kellyville, Ed McGuire of Biloxi, Miss; and Jack McGuire of Gallatin, Tenn.; brother Delmar Howard of Sapulpa, and sisters Juanita Christmas of Sand Springs and Opal Bennett of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for Omer Ray Howard of Hectorville were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie McCaslin officiating.

Burial was to follow in the green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Jim Hiett, Harvey Ray Howard, Barry Rame, Mike Gregory, Marv McGuire and Pat McGuire. Honorary bearer was John McGuire.

Howard was a life long resident of the area and died Thursday at the Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
