Funeral services for Clara S. Hugen were held today at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Beck officiating.

Burial followed at Kellyville City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hugen, 79 of Kellyville, died Friday at her home. She was born Feb 15, 1915, in Greenwood, Ark., and lived in Greenwood until she married Henry Hugen May 11, 1940, in Yuma, Ariz.

Mrs. Hugen worked as a nurse in various nursing homes, most recently Amnity Nursing home in Amnity, Ark., before moving to Kellyville in 1978. She resided with her nephew Ted Smith after her husband preceded her in death in 1989.

Survivors include brother Jennings W. Smith of Jamestown, Calif.; and sister Velah I. Vineyard of Mannford. The family headquartered at the Ted Smith residence.
