William Mack Hughes, 67, Bristow, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995 at his home.
Private family graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Bristow City Cemetery, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church, Bristow, with the Rev. Roy Pike officiating.
He was born Feb. 17, 1927 in Kansas City, MO., to Moody and Mary Elizabeth Hughes.
He married Darlene Hodge in Bristow, on June 20, 1948.
He graduated from Bristow High School and received a Bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University. He was former owner of Shaw-Hughes Drilling Co. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bristow.
Survivors include three daughters, Sally Rogers, Plano, Texas, Mary D. Collins, Lawrence, Kans., and Deborah Miller, Fort Collins, Colo.; a son, William Mack Hughes, Jr., Louisville, KY.; and seven grandchildren.
