Orvil D. Hughes, 70, Route 1, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday at June Rose Assembly of God with the Rev. Ron Billings officiating.
Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Hughes was born July 14, 1921, in Tulsa, and lived in Sapulpa for the past 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Assembly of God church and was employed at Liberty Glass Company.
Survivors include daughters Loretta YORK of Mounds and Linda COATNEY of Sapulpa; brother Charlie Hughes of Coweta; sister Mildred BAUGHMAN of Glenpool; and six grandchildren.
The family will headquarter at the Hughes residence.

Casketbearers were Clinton Baughman, Frank Baughman, Jerry Baughman, Frank Hughes, Dennis Hughes, Jack Anson and Ronnie McCall.
Mr. Hughes, a Sapulpa resident for the past 50 years, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical.

Mrs. Orvil (Nadine) Hughes, 67, of Route 1 died Wednesday at Bartlett
Memorial Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 10 am Friday at June Rose Assembly of God with the
Revs. Ron Billings and Don Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hills
Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
She was born March 24, 1922, and she married Orvil
Hughes Dec 25, 1949, in Kellyville.
Mrs. Hughes lived in the Sapulpa area for more than 40 years. She worked 13
years at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center and attended June Rose Assembly of
God.
Survivors include husband Orvil; daughters Linda Coatney of Sapulpa and
Loretta York of Mounds; sisters Evelyn Boren, Zeda Smith, Anna Lucas and Velma
Ackerman, all of Sapulpa, and Dorothy Smith and
Rozine Jordan, both of California; brothers Delbert
Long of Sapulpa and Herbert Long of Ada; and six grandchildren.
