Ruth Christina Hughes, 88, of Sapulpa, died Monday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at he Church of the First Born with Elder Dewayne Hale officiating.

Burial will follow at Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born May 29, 1904, in Criderville, Ohio. She lived in the Sapulpa area most of her life. She was a member of the General Assembly Church of the First Born.

Survivors include a son, L. J. Hughes of Sapulpa; sisters Bernice Sandkuhl of Wagoner and Lucille Wagner of Spencerville, Ohio; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ruth C. Hughes were held at 10:30 this morning at the Sapulpa Church of the First Born with Elder Dewayne Hall and Elder James Morris officiating.

Burial followed at the Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Von Castor, Marvin Castor, Scott Castor, Bill Grady, Shawn Grady and Shannon Grady.

Mrs. Hughes, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Monday.
