Watts Hughes, 73, 7 N. Mounds died Tuesday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Revs. Ron Billings and Albert Nelson officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Hughes was born May 25, 1918, in Marlow. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and moved to Sapulpa from Konowa in 1949. He owned Watts Hughes Auto Repair until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include daughters Dixie Doshier of Sapulpa, Donna McIntosh of Midland, Texas, and Mary Herman of Fort Worth, Texas; son David Hughes of Fort Worth; sisters Opie Wilkerson of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lola Smith of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
