Death Notice

Hurt, Mannford E. - Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hurt, 88, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002. He was born in Mounds Sept. 29 1913 and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was graduate of Mounds High School and a member of Beggs First Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge No. 319 in Beggs and the Sapulpa Elks Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Hurt was the former owner and operator of Hurt's Package Store.

Survivors are several nieces and nephews.
