Lester Atlee Jackson, 86, of Depew, died Tuesday at his home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday with burial to follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.

Jackson was born March 15, 1908 in Jacksboro, Texas. He married Opal Fay Horner Sept. 30, 1939 in Stephens County, Okla. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milfay, Okla and was a steel worker for Braden Steel, where he retired in 1970.

Survivors include wife Opal of the home; sons Fred and Delbert, both of Depew, and Coy and Don, both of LaHabra, Calif.; brother Calvin of Bristow; sister Ina Swanson of Midland, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jackson was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
