Margin Eugene “Gene” James, 71, Sand Springs, died Monday, March 20, 1995 at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hilldale Holiness Church with the Revs. Thomas Smith, Jackie Fine and Vernon Auld officiating. Burial will be in
Kellyville Cemetery.
He was born March 23, 1923 in Yellville, Ark.
He was a forklift driver for Liberty Glass. He moved to Sand Springs in 1959. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Free Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy, of the home; a daughter, Virginia Kay Scouten, Sapulpa; and an adopted son, Len, and daughter, Kitty.

Funeral services for Marvin Eugene “Gene” James were held today in Hilldale Holiness Church, with the Revs. Thomas Smith, Jackie Fine and Vernon Auld officiating.
Burial followed in the Kellyville Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. James, a long-time resident of Sand Springs, died Monday at his home.
Casketbearers were Steve Smith, Robert Hammond, Danny Chipman, Floyd Hammond IV, Jack Damico and Ellis Messer III, Honorary bearers were Ed Avey, Rex Pierce, Russell Lee James, Steve Pierce and Clyde Goad.
