John James, Jr., 60, 15129 Green Hill, Kiefer, died Wednesday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday in the Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Hills Mausoleum.

Mr. James was born July 8, 1931, in Canadian. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired in 1973. He moved to Kiefer in 1982 from Stigler and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion.

Survivors include sons Edmond James of Stigler and Jessie James of Orrstown, Penn.; daughter Charlotte James of Okmulgee; brothers Luther James of Odessa, Texas and Bill James of Kiefer; sisters Jessie Fregulia of Jackson, CA; Jewel Churbuck of Baton Rouge, LA; Ruth Jones of Houston, TX, Betty Sue Kelly of Huntsville, AL, Carol Blink of Modestom, CA, and four grandchildren.

The family has requested no visitation and will headquarter at the home of Bill James, 8805 West 151st Street South.

Funeral services for John James Jr. were held today at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers were Jay Richie, Al Butts, Howard Clark, John Reed, Jimmy Jackson and Sean Richie.
