H. H. Jeffries Dies At Age 74
Funeral services have been set for 2:30 pm Monday for Harry H.
Jeffries, 74, Kellyville, who died at 11 am Friday in Bartlett Memorial
Hospital. Death was due to a heart seizure.
Jeffries had lived in Kellyville for 10 years. He was pumper for
Texas Company, and had been with the company 41 years. A member of
Kellyville Methodist Church, Jeffries was born in Calera, Okla. May 8,
1893.
Surviving are the widow Mrs. Julia Jeffries of the home; three
daughters, Mrs. Virginia Harris and Mrs. Jean Jordan, both of Sapulpa,
Mrs. Barbara Raines, Antioch, Calif.; a foster son, Ralph Kiggins; three
brothers, Winnie, Enid, David, Tulsa and Fred, Sacramento, Calif.; and
two sisters, Mrs. Ola Core, Norman and Mrs. Jewell Holland, Broken
Arrow. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held in Beams of Light church with Rev. Sam
Jandian officiating, assisted by Rev. H. L. Ollander. Interment will be
in Green Hll Memorial Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Dillman, Troy McDoorman, Jim McCullough,
Roy Curtis, Charles Morgan and Homer Martin. Serving as honorary
pallbearers will be Jack Edmiston, John Romine, Vernon Hiett, Jim
Davidson, Harve Romine, Harmon Carmichael, R. W. Ragsdale and Emmet
Adams.
