BEULAH LESSIE JOHNSON, 85, died Friday in Bristow.

Services are to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Bristow First Church of God on First Street with Pastor Merlin Mosher officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.

JOHNSON was born May 29, 1908 in Bristow and was a resident of the Bristow area all her life. She married A. H. "SAWMILL" JOHNSON on Oct. 2, 1928 in the Church of God in Bristow. JOHNSON was a homemaker and loved to can, quilt and crochet. She was a very active member of the First Church of God and was a member of the Missionary Society. JOHNSON was preceded in death by her husband in 1952, one daughter, LESSIE KEATON PEARSON in 1991, son FLOYD R. JOHNSON in 1991, three step daughters, one sister and one brother.

She is survived by daughters EDITH EVANS, JO ANN THRELKELD and GEORGIA ANDERSON, all of Oklahoma City, ILA MAE BRYANT of Slick; step-daughters RUBY MASTERSON of Arizona and DORIS SEAY of Cleveland, step-son JIM JOHNSON of Edgewood, Ill.; sisters FERN KINDER and SARAH BELLE CURRY, both of Bristow and MILDRED CEARLEY of Tulsa; 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
