Delbert Dale (D. J.) Johnson, 58, Sapulpa, died Sunday at his home.
Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.
He was born Sep 1, 1931, in Ada, and lived in the Sapulpa and Kiefer area since 1973.
Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Army from 1955-57.
He operated D. J. Auto Repair Service in Kiefer.
Survivors include wife Shirley; mother Minnie Johnson of Mead; daughters Donna VanBuren of Anchorage, Alaska, Terry
Tynn Thomas of Beggs and Kim Langley of Amarillo, Texas; step-daughters Pamela Brown of Tulsa and Cathy DuBois of
Kiefer; and sisters Oletha Palmer of Mead, Sherleen Elliott of Tupelo, Naomi Stephens of Stillwater and Wendell Uhlich
of Ada.

Services for Delbert Dale Johnson will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Christian Renewal Church with the Rev. Joel Downing
officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Garold Whilmott, Bert Mason, Lynn Farmer, Ronnie Keeling, Jim Mason and Richard Bryan.
Honorary casket bearers will be Bo Bell and Gene Coulson.
Mr. Johnson died Sunday at his home.
