Kay June Jones, 70, of Sapulpa, died Friday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home after a short illness.

She was born on Dec 13, 1918, in Bixby, was a former waitress and had been retired since 1980.

No services are planned.

Survivors include two sisters Brookie Lee Hickman and Nataleen Jolin, both of Sapulpa; two brothers Lump Adkins of Sapulpa and Legus Adkins of Bakersfield, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
