Delbert Carroll Jurgensen, 70, 1517 Westland Rd., died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995 at his home.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Green Hill Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. James Haner officiating. Burial will be in
Green Hill Cemetery, directed by Owen Funeral Home.
He was born Jan. 25, 1925 in Mount Vernon, South Dakota, to William F. and Bertha Titze Jurgensen.
He married Gladys Gerlach on Jan. 22, 1948 in Dimock, South Dakota.
He moved to Sapulpa from LeMars, Iowa, 12 years ago. He was a Lutheran. He was a retired farmer and diesel mechanic. He owned the Engines and More repair shop in Sapulpa.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of the home; three sons, Donald Jurgensen, Sapulpa, Randall Jurgensen, Texas, and Bill Jurgensen, Broken Arrow; two daughters, Lianne Jurgensen, Sapulpa, and Cheryl O’Leary, Jenks; two brothers, Arvid Jurgensen, Mitchell, South Dakota, and Stan Jurgensen, Euclid, Ohio; Louella Buntrock, Mitchell and Beatrice Wentworth, Mount Vernon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Mike Tyler, Phil Hershberger, Dennis Rollings, Leon Pritchard, Travis Jurgensen and Steve Holmes.
The family will headquarter ate the family residence at 1517 Westland Road in Sapulpa the day of the service. Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. The family requests memorials be made to the Budinsky Institute for Alternative Cancer Treatment in Houston, Texas.
