Mrs. Gary (Rosava L.) Kelin, 44, Broken Arrow, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 pm Friday at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Luis Torres officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Jeff Kelin, Gene Bedwell, Rick Jackson, Buck Hoover, Terry Banks and Kelly Gensman. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Sawyer, Leon Sutcliff and Phil McInroy.

She was born May 27, 1943, in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Kelin was a member of the First Christian Church of Sapulpa. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1961.

While in school, she was president of the student council and member of several organizations. She attended Oklahoma State University and was on the Dean's Honor Roll. 

In 1962, she was selected Miss Sapulpa and went on to be selected runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma contest.

She also was senior advisor at church camps for the Christian Church and worked for Merrill Lynch for seven years as a woman executive.

Mrs. Kelin lived in Broken Arrow for the past 15 years, moving there from Shawnee, OK.

She married Gary Kelin in 1970 in Pampa, Texas.

Survivors include husband Gary; parents Mirriell M. and Marylin Jackson of Tulsa; grandparents Theordore and Marvis Williams of Pryor, OK; son Jeffery of Broken Arrow; daughters Fawn Bedwell of Broken Arrow and Michele of Dallas; brother Rick R. Jackson of Broken Arrow; and two grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Lanna Morrison residence, 8207 Glenside Lane.

Mrs. Kelin will lie in state at the funeral home until noon Friday and the casket will not be opened after the service.
